Day 1 Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

  • Departure: Early morning pick-up from Nairobi hotel/airport.

  • Drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley (scenic stop at viewpoint)

  • En route stop in Narok town – last major stop before entering the Mara

  • Arrive at the campsite in time for lunch

  • Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

    • First chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, antelope, and more

  • Return to camp for dinner

  • Overnight stay at the camp (shared or private tents, depending on package)

Day 2 Safari

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara (Game Drives)

  • Early breakfast at the campsite

  • Full day game drive with packed lunch in the park

    • Explore the vast plains and riverbanks of the Mara

    • Visit the Mara River (home to crocodiles and hippos)

    • High chances of seeing lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and possibly leopards

  • Lunch picnic at a scenic spot inside the park

  • Return to camp in the evening

  • Dinner and campfire experience

    • Optional cultural talk, star-gazing, and Maasai storytelling

Day 4 Safari

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi

  • Optional early morning game drive (if you didn’t do it on Day 3)

  • Breakfast at the campsite

  • Depart Masai Mara with a final scenic drive

  • Stop for lunch en route (own cost or included)

  • Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon (~4:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

  • Drop-off at your hotel/residence or Nairobi airport

📍 Highlight: Final game sightings and scenic drive back through the Rift Valley
