Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley down to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride (optional) among hippos and view rich birdlife along the freshwater lake shores, flanked by towering papyrus beds and acacia trees.
